Hi, everybody. I am Luca from Italy (best food and wine in the world) and I am delighted to have joined Aberdeen Osteopathy Clinic as an Associate Osteopath
I studied 4 years in Napoli getting the Italian title of D.O (Doctor of Osteopathy). I then moved to the UK to complete a Masters programme in Osteopathic science in order to increase my knowledge and open my mind to a different osteopathic approach. I completed my Master of Osteopathy at Kingston University
I am passionate about the human body, health and movement. My goal is to help people by doing my best to restore their natural body systems.
My treatment style is mostly based on a combination of effective soft tissue treatment, manipulation and gentle cranial therapy.
I like to motivate my patients and help them exceed their best. I am interested in treating a range of conditions from sport injuries to everyday issues and problems including lower back pain, chronic shoulder injuries, neck pain, headache and various sports injuries. My goal during the sessions is to reduce muscle spasms, modulate the nerve function and increase the range of movement in the joints.
Why Aberdeen: I chose to come to Aberdeen to find a balance between a good city size surrounded by beautiful countryside. I love the fact that you can enjoy beautiful beaches, amazing landscapes and wonderful historical sites within a short distance of each other.
Interests: Keeping my body and mind fit; travel; friends and family.
Sport addicted: I played professional tennis, competing on the National circuit/leagues in Italy.
Passionate about: Helping people; ongoing learning; outdoor activity; and simple life.
Favourite quote: “Ever tried, ever failed. No matter. Try again fail again, fail better.”
